Union Mills:  An Unforgotten Legacy

     I have been a resident of Union Mills my entire life.  I have found many fond memories

 spanning from the time that I first fixed my eyes on the "W. E. SWEATT" above the old

 auditorium to the last game of dodge ball I played in Jake Terry's PE class.  Even though I

 attended Union Mills for only one year, the growth that took place while there will benefit

 me for the rest of my life.  When I received this scholarship information from my

 counselors, I was grateful for this opportunity provided by my community.  I hope that by

 receiving this scholarship, I can continue to build upon the strong education that started

 in Union Mills.  Maybe one day I can give something back to the community that has

 given so much over the years.
